Training Needs Assessment of University of Malta Staff
Attention: Directors, Deans, Heads and Officers in Charge
As part of the re-organisation process, the Human Resources Office has set up a Training and Development Section. One of the initial projects of this section is to analyse the current training gap of all administrative, executive, clerical, technical, messengerial and industrial employees at various levels within the University of Malta.
In meeting this objective, the Training and Development Section would be meeting all Directors, Deans, Heads and Officers in Charge in order to identify the current tasks of employees and the immediate training requirements. This is the first step of the Training Needs Assessment and will be subsequently completed by analysis at a later stage.
The meetings are planned to be held during September and October of this year to prepare for a full training plan during 2008. Your cooperation in this matter will enable the Human Resources Office to implement the appropriate training programmes.

Call for Application Request Form
The Human Resources Office has recently made available a Call for Application Request Form. The form refers to both internal and external calls, and it may be used by Heads of Department to make requests for recruitment.
