Peter Lewis on his graduation day | Peter C. Lewis 3 August 1931 - 30 November 2011
Peter C. Lewis was Professor of Physics at the Unversity of Malta from the earliest years of the B.Sc. until the seventies, and was also Dean of the Faculty of Science. He could be described as one of the founders of the Faculty of Science in Malta. Professor Lewis visited Malta many times after his return to the UK and, though he no longer had direct contact with the University, many alumni who graduated B.Sc. in those days will still have fond and respectful memories of Professor Lewis.
