In the coming days, University of Malta graduates, who have not already registered online, will receive a letter and instructions on how to activate their University of Malta IT Account for Alumni, and thus join the University’s Alumni Community.
Activation will give Alumni easy access to their personal University of Malta record and give them the opportunity to ‘search’ online for their graduate peers and other Alumni of the University of Malta. They will be able to create interest groups and organise get-togethers and generally interact with their Alma Mater and its former students.
The University will itself be able to link up with its graduates in Malta and abroad with the aim of creating networking possibilities by keeping them updated, connected and informed.
The University has around 30,000 living graduates dating back to the Class of 1937. Those who graduated before 1996 may not receive the letter if the University was unable to obtain their current postal address. These Alumni are being requested to register at www.um.edu.mt/alumni
