A person’s intellectual development and personal growth are complementary and are inextricably linked with each other in the development of the whole person. Our aim is to enhance and support the intellectual, spiritual, sexual and emotional growth of persons belonging to the University community. The University Counselling Unit is an integral part of the University of Malta and it offers counselling for its staff and students, and also participates in research, training and consultation.

Student Seminar

Seminar on Relationships
Dear Student,

In life there’s hardly anything as difficult as going it alone; having someone to lean on can make even the bitterest of life’s blows tolerable. Research even suggests that relationships are as vital to our health as good nutrition and regular exercise, perhaps more so. The Counselling Unit is organising a Workshop on Relationships where we will be exploring and understanding the complexities of human relationships, parents and grown children, love relationships, and others. Maybe life can become less difficult and more interesting if can see relationships in a clear light.

Seminar dates:
Session 1 - Wednesday 15th February

Session 2 - Friday 17th February
Venue will be confirmed as soon as you send an email to Shawn Farrugia on stating that you are interested in attending this seminar. Kindly indicate if you would like to attend Session 1 or Session 2. The content delivered in both seminars will be the same.
