The Edward de Bono Institute hosted the following two events in collaboration with Degree Plus and Bank of Valletta to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2009.

1.  Panel Session and Discussion on Entrepreneurship

Date: Wednesday 18 November 2009

Time: 12.00 - 13.30

Venue: KSU Common Room, University of Malta

Details: A number of successful (established and budding) entrepreneurs shared their experiences during a panel session and discussion on entrepreneurship.  University of Malta students and staff had the opportunity to engage in a discussion with the panel following the entrepreneurs' brief presentations.  For more details on the composition of the panel of entrepreneurs please click here.

2.  Networking Session

Date: Wednesday 18 November 2009

Time: 13.30 - 14.30

Venue: KSU Common Room, University of Malta

Details: A light reception was held following the panel session and discussion to allow participants to network and exchange ideas in a less formal manner.  This was an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to meet promising young individuals who have the potential of becoming idea generators, intrapreneurs and innovation managers in their organisations.

The main aim of these activities was to interact, network, collaborate and share ideas - and to find out more about skills which are essential in today's competitive global scenario.

These events were open to all University of Malta students and staff free of charge.

Those who wished to participate were kindly requested to fill in an online registration form by not later than Sunday 15 November by clicking here.
