DESCRIPTION Learning Objectives

On completion of this study-unit students are expected to:

• Describe the relationship between creativity, innovation and new digital technologies;
• Discuss the impact of new digital technology on creativity and innovation;
• Explain different strategic choices related to the introduction of new digital technologies in organizations and applied settings (e.g. schools);
• Explain how change impacts the role of new digital technologies on creativity and innovation.

Description

This study-unit describes the affinity that exists between creativity and the role of technology in the creative process.It discusses whether digital technology has revamped or dumped the creative process, the role of human centred designs in innovation aspects, and the impact of new digital technologies on the innovation impact in social contexts especially organisations.
