Students registering for the ‘Leisure Sport: Kendo’ unit will be required to complete ten sessions at the University Sports Hall. These sessions imparts vigour to the mind and body and students will become familiar with the methods of breathing. Furthermore kendo helps students to overcome fear of aggression, and learn to remain calm in face of adversity. Most importantly kendo is enjoyable and can be practiced by anyone. Qualified coaches will provide with a training regime tailor-made for each student’s abilities. The club's equipment can be used at first and the armour is fully protective. For details contact us by email at kendo.degreeplus@um.edu.mt
