Students registering for the ‘Leisure Sport: Wrestling’ unit will be required to complete ten sessions of wrestling practice. Students will become familiar with the sport of wrestling as well as its rules, regulations and the various techniques and skills. Qualified coaches will provide a combination of theory and practical sessions. The sport is very effective for self defence and is ideal for students of all abilities. The fee charged by the University to the student upon registration only covers the accreditation process by Degree Plus. All other fees (e.g. transport fees, membership fees, etc.) are to be borne by the student.
