| DESCRIPTION | Learning Objectives: • Insight into the values, culture and society of Ancient Greece; • Linguistic challenge which will enhance critical, analytical and reflective skills; • Basic knowledge of Classical Greek grammatical rules; • Writing of simple sentences in Classical Greek; • Guided reading of original Classical Greek texts. Assessment: In keeping with the spirit of Degree Plus, there is no formal assessment associated with the unit. A certificate of attendance and of satisfactory completion of the unit will be provided at the end of the semester. Unit Material: Appropriate unit material will be provided by the tutor during the sessions. |
