DESCRIPTION | Ultimate frisbee is a 7 aside non-contact team sport played with a frisbee. The objective of the game is to pass around the frisbee and receive it in the opponent’s end zone. This unit will help students learn how to play this sport by attending practical sessions over a period of 8 – 12 weeks. Unit Material: Appropriate unit material will be provided by the tutor during the sessions. Assessment: Attendance is obligatory and students need to have a minimum of 50% attendance. In keeping with the spirit of Degree Plus, there is no formal assessment associated with the unit. A certificate of attendance and of satisfactory completion of the unit will be provided at the end of the semester. |
