Further Information
The Culture and Heritage option within Degree Plus will give students the opportunity to participate in a number of guided visits to various museums and sites around Malta and Gozo. These sites are managed by Heritage Malta, the national agency for museums, conservation practice and cultural heritage. Through these visits we aim to familiarise participants with Malta’s priceless heritage; highlight the most important cultural locations that Malta and Gozo offer and provide participants with a broad knowledge about Malta’s cultural heritage. This option is open to all students who have a genuine desire to appreciate more widely various aspects of Malta’s rich cultural heritage.
Students may register for DGP0501 and / or DGP0502 from here.
Each of these two units will consist of guided visits to various museums and sites around Malta (mostly administered by Heritage Malta). These six visits will be held on Wednesdays between noon and 2pm and are covered by the standard LM5 / €11.65 Degree Plus registration fee. (Transport from/to the university is also included in the price.)
An optional day visit to Gozo organised by the University / Heritage Malta. This will be open to friends and relatives of the participants. An additional fee will apply.
