DGP2001 - Project Management (Semester 1)

This unit aims to provide participants with a broad context in which project management can be understood. Participants will participate actively and directly in projects of their own devising. They will be asked to form groups and develop a hypothetical project which is of interest and relevant to the group of participants itself and the local community. The unit will seek to encourage groups to play the key roles in order to develop their project, seek EU funding for it and make an application which can itself be submitted for a grant within the Youth in Action Programme.
