The Department of Dental Surgery comprises of the Phantom Head Room and the Teaching Clinic. The Phantom Head Room is where Dental Students first practice procedures on simulators. Having achieved the required degree of proficiency, they progress to the Teaching Clinic where students are allocated patients and a wide range of treatments is carried out under supervision of qualified members of staff.
