DESCRIPTION This study-unit covers the practical application of orthodontic principles to the resolution of orthodontic malocclusions. The use of relevant dental materials and the use of special investigative techniques in the clinical setting will be taught. in addition a practical knowledge of statical tests will also be shown.

Study-unit Aims:

The aim of this study-unit is to produce a highly knowledgeable professional at Master's level:
- Formulate an acceptable treatment plan;
- Have a working knowledge on the long term follow up of orthodontic treatment;
- Have a knowledge of basic statistical test of use in research;
- Be adapted in clinical and medical audit;
- Have a knowledge in good clinical governance.
