| DESCRIPTION | The course introduces students to research methods and writing styles. It also aims to inform students on the research sources available to them at the EDRC and how to use them. It is made up of 12 one hourly sessions as follows: 1. Using the resources of the EDU/EU Data Base 2. Writing an assignment/dissertation     - title     - theoretical question/hypothesis     - the importance of theory     - empirical data - primary and secondary sources     - quotations and references     - footnotes     - referencing the internet     - bibliography 3. The science of political science (history) 4. Political Science Methods (I) 5. Using Elementary Statistical Techniques 6. Political Science Methods (II) 7.
