DESCRIPTION Legal Safeguards For Human Rights in Europe examines the legal and other mechanisms in Europe for the enforcement of human rights, including those established by the European Convention on Human Rights, but also to the extent to which the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) contributes to the safeguarding of human rights and particularly in countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
