UM LEVEL 01 - Year 1 in Modular Undergraduate Course

MQF LEVEL 5

ECTS CREDITS 4

The way of living and thinking of a given nation can also be outlined during the learning of a language for specific purposes. In this study-unit the students shall have the opportunity to understand the language related to their area of expertise placed in the cultural context of the target language. At this stage, the logistics consist in re-orienting the students’ linguistics needs according to their area of expertise. The training is composed of learning/teaching methods available on the market or from authentic documents. This training for students ahow do not specialize in French promotes a wider French dissemination in Malta and allows a contribution to the Maltese economy in the service sector such as tourism, banking, etc.
