Publications Committee
The aim of the Publications Committee is mainly to promote research work being carried out by Faculty of Education and Maltese researchers through a variety of avenues.
The Committee is mainly committed to the publication of articles, through its online journal - J
ournal of Maltese Educational Research. It also aims to promote the publication of monographs through its series entitled
Trends.
Trends is dedicated to theory development, empirical research, policy formulation, and quality improvement in education generally and teacher education, staff development, and teaching in particular. It offers a means of communication and dissemination of local educational research, whilst also providing a forum for debate between researchers and educationalists.
The Committee also aspires to use different channels to promote these studies through workshops and seminars that will be open to educators specialising in specific areas of study and also the general public.
