MERIDIUM - Multilingualism and Migration in Mediterranean Europe

Two academic members of the Department, Professor Sandro Caruana (National Scientific Coordinator) and Mr George Cremona, together with Dr Alexandra Vella, from the Institute of Linguistics, presented the findings of a study on language diversity in Maltese primary schools at an international conference held between the 25th and 27th November at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, Italy.  Professor Antoinette Camilleri-Grima, another academic member of the Department, was an invited speaker.
