The Faculty of Engineering, University of Malta organised a 2 day research conference on the 6th and 8th May. The event was a great opportunity to showcase research carried out at the Faculty. A total of 17 presentations were delivered by students reading for Masters of Science Degrees
The work presented spanned over the many fields in which the Faculty actively conducts research, such as development of novel materials, design of structures for renewable energy components, advanced manufacturing techniques and control of aeronautical systems, just to mention a few. The event was well attended by academics, current undergraduate students, members of the general public and industry.
The conference’s opening address were delivered by Dr. John Betts, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Dr. Maurice Apap, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
