The Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering delivers materials engineering lectures and laboratory sessions for units in a number of taught undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses at the University of Malta. It also dedicates its time to research and offers postgraduate research degrees.

The main contribution of the Department is to the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering offered by the Faculty, the Master of Science in Materials Engineering and the research programmes but also offers lectures to students reading for:
