The European Centre of Gerontology's Masters and Doctorate in Philosophy is designed to prepare students for leadership roles as teachers, researchers, planners, and policy makers in this field of growing importance for both the private and the public sectors. The M.Phil. / Ph.D. Gerontology graduate research programme will enable candidates to investigate an area of interest in great depth and become a leading expert in their own right. Candidates initially register for an M.Phil. and are generally expected to transfer to Ph.D. status.
