The role of the scientific committee is to govern the selection process of applicants submitting an interest in participating to the 23rd International Climate Change Policy Workshop.  The scientific committee consist of members active in academic and research institutions, selected on the basis of their expertise in the particular fields relevant to the workshop.

The members of the scientific committee are:

Professor Lino Briguglio (Chair) – Director of the Island and Small State Institute and member of the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
Dr Simon Borg – Head of Department of Environment and Resources Law
Dr Louis Cassar – Director of the Earth System Institute 
Dr Alan Deidun - Physical Oceanography Unit
Professor Alfred Micallef – Department of Physics
Professor Roderick Pace – Director of the European Documentation and Research Centre (EDRC)
Professor Manfred Weissenbacher – Institute for Sustainable Energy
