Mr Carl Camilleri

Mr Carl Camilleri is an Assistant Lecturer in Macroeconomics. His main teaching areas are Macroeconomics, Applied Macroeconomics, Econometrics and Advanced Econometrics. Mr Camilleri also lectures in Economic Research Methods.


Mr Camilleri was employed for nine years as an Economist at the Economic Policy Division within the Ministry of Finance, working primarily in areas related to economic modeling and welfare reform. He graduated Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Economics from the University of Malta in 1998 and obtained an MSc degree in Econometrics (with Distinction) from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London in 1999.


Mr Camilleri is currently a Ph.D. candidate at City University (London). His research area is Health Economics and his work will focus on the measurement of efficiency in Malta’s health care system.
