Carmel M Fsadni first graduated in languages in 1966 and later changed his vocation by joining the first B.Sc.(Hons.) course in Hotel and Tourism Administration at the University of Surrey.  He joined the Faculty in 1981 and later read for a Master of Science degree in Business Administration at Bath, England.

Over the years he has carried out various international consultancy assignments in industry and has organised in-house training programmes on behalf of a number of companies.

He has lectured in the area of Strategy in various countries.  Between 1993 and 1996 he co-ordinated a European Union Project namely Med-Campus, which focused on Sustainable Cultural and Ecological Tourism.

In 1994 he was instrumental in setting up the B.Com.(Hons.) Tourism degree course.  He is now Course Director of the MBA Executive Programmes offered by the Faculty.
