The Department of Marketing was established in 1994. It provides quality career-oriented education at Diploma, Undergraduate and at a Post-Graduate level. At undergraduate level the department offers an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing. It also provides courses related to Marketing within the Faculty as well as to other Faculties and Centres at the University. At MBA level the department offers courses in Consumer Behaviour, Business to Business Marketing, Marketing Management and International Marketing.
The department is also active in research and its members have published in leading marketing journals. The diverse background of the staff ensures that a broad range of marketing related topics receive attention. In addition members of the department have been actively involved in consultancy and as board members.
