Miriam Pocock graduated in 1997, with a Masters in Marketing and a BA(Hons) Business Management in 1991, both from the University of Malta. Miriam has been lecturing Marketing with FEMA, as visiting lecturer, for the past eight years.  Since 1991, she occupied several Executive posts in industry, during which time she carried out  overseas market research studies and consultancies, executed  target market strategies and organized a number of Seminars and Events  in several countries worldwide  to include: Italy, Germany, Russia  and Greece; Far East Markets; North African Markets and the United States. After working in the Maritime Industry, Miriam joined in 1997, a local established company in the Building Services Sector, as General Manager, where she spent 10 years.   Before joining FEMA, as a full time lecturer , Miriam was employed as Head of Marketing with one of the key players in Financial Services.  Miriam is married to Dr. James Pocock and has a twelve year old daughter called Elena.
