TITLE Visit to Foreign Financial Services Firm

DESCRIPTION Students will be invited by Foreign Insurance Firms (such as Manfre in Spain and Lloyds in London) to visit them - They will organise a tour and walk-through of the functions in the firm. Moreover, they will organise seminars and talks in which the students are able to discuss insurance matters with top personalities.

Study-unit Aims:

This study-unit is aimed to help the student gain exposure while studying. All expenses (travel, food and lodging) are to be paid by the student since it will be held abroad.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Knowledge & Understanding:

Experience visiting large Insurance and Assurance Companies, to prepare and make students ready for larger firms with different cultures and a global mindset. To enhance a range of skills, including personal and social skills, communication, problem solving, creativity and organisational skills.

2. Skills:

Experience of the work of an insurance and assurance company in larger jurisdictions.
