EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATION MEMO

EMPLOYEE INFORMATION REGARDING PERSONS WITH DISABILITY

The University is being asked to participate in a survey for the National Policy regarding Employment and Disabled Persons.

The National Commission for Persons with Disability (NCPD) is requesting information pertaining to disabled persons within the Public Service and the wider Public Service.  This is to ensure that current National Policies regarding disabled persons is being followed.

The survey requires the University to provide numerical information – not personal details.

In addition to the needs of the survey I think it is very important for the University to have such information.

Therefore it would be appreciated if you could email me with the following information if you are a person who is registered disabled or if you would like more information about the services for people with disabilities:

• Your name
• The nature of your disability
• If you are registered as a person with disabilities with the commission.
