Project Deliverables
The expected project deliverables for the University of Malta for the year 2009, include:
- Requirements survey; use of a questionnaire and oral interviews to assess the Language Resources required for the various applications;
- A Basic Language Resource Kit (BLARK) matrix for the Maltese Language; if possible extended with ELARK
- Specifications overview and analysis of the existent Maltese Language Resource Server (MLRS); identification of improvements needed to the system;
- A report of possible technology based resources which would suit LR requirements for the Maltese language;
- A report on the existent tools which can be used for the processing of the Maltese Language in both written and spoken forms;
- Maltese Language data input; a collection of Maltese language representations in different media including text, and audio-visual sources.
