| DESCRIPTION | The Course shall be offered in areas of study in which the Faculty can offer expert guidance and supervision and subject to the availability of resources as determined by the Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics. The areas of study shall be indicated by the Board before the commencement of the Course. Students are required to write a dissertation based on work of an advanced or original nature carried out by them. During the course, students will also be required to present their findings and conclusions in a scholarly manner. |

| ADDITIONAL NOTES | Pre-requisite Study-unit: MNE5911 **September Assessment Session: Students who fail to obtain an overall pass mark will be re-examined in the Dissertation. However, the resit availability for the Presentation and Oral Examination is at the discretion of the Board of Examiners. |
