The Institute of Earth Systems is offering the M.Sc. by research in two main areas of study: environmental management and planning, and rural sciences, and applicants may opt to follow the programme on either a full- or part-time basis.

Prospective students intending to read for the M.Sc. by research during academic year 2012-2013 (starting in October 2012) should apply online as soon as possible. Although late applications can be submitted during August and September, we strongly recommend applying by no later than 24th July 2012.

Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered, and we strongly emphasize the importance of applying early since this will maximise your chances of being accepted.
Applicants will be advised of their appointed supervisor as soon as possible after 15th September 2012. Please note that no binding arrangements regarding supervision can be made between potential supervisors and students before this date.
