The Institute has produced a revised Student Handbook intended as a guide to support students during their studies and to enable them to approach their work in an effective way.

The handbook begins with a brief introduction to the Institute and then presents an overview of the code of conduct expected of the IES’s students. This is followed by a chapter providing guidelines on study methods and activities, which aims to assist students in developing and applying effective learning strategies. The next sections focus on assignments and examinations (including tips for effective communication and delivery), and on dissertations and research projects, since these are all key components of a course of study. Information on academic and social support structures follows, and the handbook concludes with an overview of the various communication methods available to students.
