Who is eligible to participate in Erasmus+ Student Mobility?

Beneficiaries (i.e. the applicants selected to participate in Erasmus+) must have completed their first year of studies at Undergraduate level by the time they depart for the Erasmus period abroad and must be registered for studies at the higher education institution where they submit their application.

Erasmus+ is open to students who are nationals of a country participating in  Erasmus+ or a national of another country enrolled in regular courses in institutions of higher education in the participating country under the conditions fixed by the participating country taking into account the nature of the programme (see the relevant information published for the call for applications). 

In line with the discussion held with the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA) a quota of 3% of the allocated funding for approved mobilities shall be applied for students with a disability/special needs. 

At the University of Malta, the Erasmus+ Programme is managed by the International & EU Office which liaises with the European Union Programmes Agency and the European Commission Directorate for Education and Culture to ensure the proper administration of the programme at the University.
