Born in Rome in 1976. His background is in development economics and political science. He worked in the Italian Parliament as manager and policy analyst in the field of development and foreign policy, and as a consultant in several development countries in relation to social and environmental funded activities. Since 2008 he’s been employed as lecturer and researcher in the areas of development economics, climate change & European studies at the University of Malta. He is currently reading for a Ph.D. in the field of climate change adaptation and development, with a focus on the European Union (EU) Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) in Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
