IT Services organises orientation sessions at the start of each semester. These sessions provide students with an overview of the various facilities and services provided by IT Services, and include an introduction to the use of the UoM VLE and use of Plagiarism Detection Software (Turnitin).

Sessions are held at IT Services and each orientation session lasts 1.5hrs. A number of sessions are also held at the Faculty of Health Science lab for the convenience of students reading their studies at Mater Dei Hospital. There are no fees involved. There are no fees involved.

Students are required to book online to attend an orientation session. New students must activate their UoM IT Account in order to access the online booking system.

Students are expected to cancel their booking if they are unable to attend their booked session. Cancellation enables them to book for another orientation session.
