Introduction

IT Services provides mailing list facilities to departments (Faculties, Departments, Institutes, Committees etc.) at the University of Malta.

University Mailing Lists provide an efficient way of posting text-based messages to a group of users (staff and/or students) having a UoM IT Account.

Administration and subscriptions to University Mailing Lists are done via the web.


Subscribing to a Mailing List

All users with a UoM IT Account may request to subscribe to any mailing lists currently available at the University of Malta.

To make a request to join a University mailing list click here and follow the instructions. You will receive an automatic reply confirming that your subscription request has been received.

Subscription to the mailing list will be confirmed via an email sent by the list administrator. Subscribers will only receive messages sent to the mailing list by the list administrator.

Users can unsubscribe from a mailing list at any time via the web. To unsubscribe from a mailing list click here and follow the instructions. You will receive an automatic reply confirming your unsubscription from the mailing list.


Setting up & Administering a Mailing List

University Mailing Lists are available for departmental (Faculties, Departments, Institutes, Committees etc.) use.

Members of staff with a UoM IT Account interested in setting up a mailing list are requested to complete the application form Department: IT Services Mailing List Account [PDF] and forward this to IT Services Reception desk.
