Upgrades

Upgrades are normally made available during summer recess. A notification will be displayed in the IT Services Notices section when an upgrade is released.

To upgrade your ArcGIS installation, first remove the old version of ArcGIS software from your computer and then follow the installation instructions found in the installation section above to install the latest available version.

The software licence is renewed centrally and no action is required from the user side.

Note: OpenVPN expires yearly and needs to be renewed in order to keep using ArcGIS outside the campus network. More information about renewing OpenVPN may be found here.
