Notification of Absence 

Students are reminded that if they absent themselves during term time, they are to complete the Notification of Absence form [PDF], and attach it to the National Insurance Medical Certificate if sick, otherwise submit a report giving reasons why they did not attend.  The documents have to be submitted immediately to Faculty Office.

Option to Transfer to a Two Cycle Programme Leading to M.Pharm. Degree

Academic Year 2011/12



Students following the B.Pharm. (Hons.) courses II, III and IV year in 2011/12 are hereby invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, 28th September 2011 at  09.00am in the Science Lecture Theatre (SLT).

Kindly note that, during the academic year 2011/ 2012, the third years will be running their Pharmacy Practice Placement between 26 March and 18 May 2012

 

All teaching staff in the third year, including those coming from servicing departments, are  advised that formal lectures have to be completed before the 26 March.

 

Reminder:  Annual Pharmacy Symposium for 2012 is being scheduled between Monday 5 March to Friday 9 March 2012.
 


 

 

Quality Management System

 

The Department of Pharmacy has a Quality Management System for the practical experience in the laboratories. A new version of the SOPs has been distributed. All students are expected to read the Standard Operating Procedures:

and sign a Read and Understood Form before commencing with their practical experience.




 

Student Hours

 

As instructed by Registrar, students should keep with the following student hours.

10.30 am - 12.15 pm
3.30 - 4.30 pm


 

Dissertation Projects Request Form

 

• STUDENTS SHOULD BORROW THE DISSERTATION PROJECT ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY BETWEEN 14.3016.30.


• STUDENTS SHOULD APPLY BY FILLING IN THE Dissertation Request Form [PDF] AT LEAST THE DAY BEFORE THEY REQUIRE THE DISSERTATION. NO MORE THAN THREE (3) DISSERTATIONS SHOULD BE GIVEN EACH TIME OF REQUEST.

• THE REQUEST FORM SHOULD BE POSTED IN THE PIGEON BOX NAME UNDER JAN FARRUGIA AND ANNA CREMONA.

• MAKE SURE THAT YOU SIGN ON THE DISSERTATION LOG BOOK WHEN YOU RETURN THE DISSERTATION.
