DESCRIPTION | Students are assigned for a practical attachment to experience hospital pharmacy practice within a hospital scenario. Study unit aims: This unit emphasises the importance of techniques used during field work Learning Outcomes: 1 Knowledge & Understanding By the end of this study unit, the student will be able to: o appraise professional functions of the pharmacist within practical scenarios o develop characteristics of pharmacist interventions in practical scenarios o demonstrate a developmental level of learning experientially by analyzing experiences, connecting them with theory and constructing a message from them 2. Skills By the end of this study unit, the student will be able to: o Interact and communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and administrative staff o Apply critical thinking skills |
