Ing. Brian E. Cauchi awarded the Malta/WIPO Gold Medal for Best Inventor for his work on Communications Analysers
The work was commercialised as 3am LineScope and the product has since been adopted by payment terminal manufacturers, system integrators and certification labs worldwide. It was also successfully employed in a high-profile patent litigation case in the US to disprove infringement allegations.
Brian is a director at 3am Systems, an innovative technology start-up based in Malta. He holds a visiting teaching post at the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of ICT, where he is now following a taught Masters programme in Telecommunications.
