'The Way Forward for Youth Work'

Youth work in Malta is a relatively new profession. At the same time, the potential of youth work cannot be underestimated. This round-table discussion will serve not only to ensure the adaptation of new, empowering approaches when working with young people, but also to ensure that how to improve already existent services and facilities in Malta. It will also explore ways how the youth work profession would make itself felt more.

About the Guest Speaker:
Dr Brian Belton is a senior tutor at the YMCA George Williams College, London. Currently he is involved in a growing, worldwide network of practitioners and academics concerned with the exploration of youth work.
Brian is an internationally renowned educator and trainer and has written widely on youth work and related subjects.
