The EndCare Annual Conference will be held at the Medical School Auditorium, Mater Dei Hospital between 3 - 4 October. The conference theme is 'Establishing the Baseline – The Proper Practice of End of Life Care: an expert appraisal of current positions'.
End of Life care is an area which affects everybody. The stated and approved aim of this 100% EU-funded project led by the University of Malta is the 'Harmonisation and dissemination of best practice - Educating and alleviating the concerns of Health Care Professionals on the proper practice of end of life care.' The attached brochure provides a comprehensive overall picture of the project in a few words.
Professor Pierre Mallia from the Bioethics Research Programme at the Medical School is the appointed Project Co-ordinator. Legal, medical and ethics experts from all over the EU and beyond are involved on the project team as may be seen on the project website.
