The Department of Fundamental and Dogmatic Theology in collaboration with the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts are organising an Interdepartmental Colloquium on Thomas Aquinas after Postmodernism on Monday, 12 December 2016 at 10:00 in the Faculty of Theology Board Room (Room 317, New Humanities Building).
The Speaker, Piotr Roszak, is Professor of Fundamental Theology at the Faculty of Theology within the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland). He is an Associate Professor at the University of Navarra (Spain), Vice-dean for research at the Faculty in Toruń and the Director of the series Scholastica Thoruniensia that publishes Polish translations of Aquinas’ commentaries on the Corpus Paulinum. He is also the editor-in-Chief of the international journal Scientia et Fides as well as an expert at the National Centre of Science in Poland. His areas of research include Thomism, Mozarabic Liturgy and the phenomenon of the Camino de Santiago.
Professor Roszak will read a short paper on the topic, followed by discussion until 11:30. Tea and coffee will be served.
