The EUROSTUDENT project aims to collect information on the social dimension of the European higher education and then compare it across all participating countries. Every three years, students in higher education from around 30 countries are surveyed based on a common set of questions to gather and compare data on their socio-economic backgrounds, their living conditions and their mobility during their studies. The sixth round of EUROSTUDENT began in January 2016 and will be completed in May 2018. For more information about this project visit www.eurostudent.eu.
The National Commission for Further and Higher Education carries out the data collection for the EUROSTUDENT survey in Malta. Both national and international students studying in further and higher education in Malta were invited to participate in the survey between March and May 2016. The presentation will provide insights into the aims and methodology of this international survey and provide preliminary insights into the data collected for Malta.
