Dr Mario Pace, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Malta, has been invited to give a lecture entitled: Dal portfolio cartaceo all' ePortfolio per insegnanti tirocinanti during a course for teacher trainers organised by DITALS and the Università per Stranieri in Siena, Italy between 18 and 19 February 2016.
Dr Mario Pace, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Malta, has been invited to deliver a lecture on Dal portfolio cartaceo all’ ePortfolio per insegnanti tirocinanti during the 10th edition of the Corso propedeutico per formatori e somministratori DITALS.
The course, organised by the Università per Stranieri of Siena, Italy, will be held on 18 and 19 February 2016 and is compulsory for teachers and teacher trainers who would like to obtain the DITALS Certification.
The DITALS Certification is a cultural qualification granted by the University for Foreigners of Siena that certifies the possession of the theoretical and practical competences needed to fulfil the role of teacher of the Italian language to foreigners after an examination consisting of written and oral assignments. The DITALS Centre organises annual Courses of Higher Education, including the Master DITALS (60 credits): a one-year postgraduate course (3 modules in presence and 7 modules in e-learning), concluding with the discussion of a final project which includes the achievement of DITALS Certification Level 1 and DITALS Certification level 2. The DITALS Centre, which is housed within the Università per Starnieri in Siena is project partner of the International Association EAQUALS - Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services.
