The Doctoral Committee of the Faculty of Education, chaired by Professor Antoinette Camilleri Grima, organised a one-day seminar for its doctoral students. The theme of the seminar was 'The Doctoral Journey'. Faculty staff members and education doctoral students registered with other universities were also invited.
The seminar, which was well-attended, was held at St Paul's Missionary College in Rabat on 13 February. It was conducted by Professor Marilyn Martin-Jones from the University of Birmingham, UK. A mixture of plenary and workshop sessions saw participants engaged critically in issues ranging from the identification of the research problem to the preparation for the viva and beyond. Participants also had the opportunity to meet informally over refreshments and lunch.
