A delegation from the Faculty for Social Wellbeing led by the Dean, Dr Andrew Azzopardi, met with Mr Paul Debattista, Director of the Corradino Correctional Facilities (CCF), and Ms Mariella Camilleri, Assistant Director responsible for Education at CCF.
The delegation also included Dr Greta Darmanin Kissaun, Deputy Dean and Head, Department of Psychology, Prof. Saviour Formosa, Head, Department of Criminology, Dr Clarissa Sammut Scerri, Head, Department of Family Studies, Dr Natalie Kenely, Head, Department of Social Policy and Social Work, Dr Brenda Murphy, Head, Department of Gender Studies, Dr Maria Fenech, Lecturer, Department of Gerontology, Dean Delegates, Dr Andrea Dibben and Dr Claire Azzopardi Lane and Ms Lara Ellul, assistant to the Dean.
The courtesy meeting included an orientation visit around parts of the CCF complex. These two organisations will be finding ways how to strengthen the collaboration in terms of research and Continuing Professional Development.
This was another in a series of meetings that the Faculty is organising to strengthen its link with the community and to reach out to the stakeholders.
