With increasing globalisation, more and more patients are enquiring about alternative forms of medicine including Traditional Chinese Medicine options of managing their medical conditions particularly in chronic conditions where symptomatic relief with conventional western medicine is poor or associated with significant side effects. Western medicine-trained physicians generally feel poorly prepared to address the patients enquiries without bias and with an open mind. The survey sets out to investigate whether there is a role of introducing aspects of alternative medicine in the medical curriculum or supplement knowledge in TCM in alternative ways.
The survey should take less than five minutes to complete.
