A national seminar with MEUSAC core group members, MCESD members and the academia on climate action will be held on 30 October 2015.
Prof. Simone Borg has been involved in the organisation of these seminars, from the government side. Together with the co-organisers, namely MEUSAC and EU Representation, it was felt it would be a great opportunity for academia and MCESD hold an outreach workshop together. MCESD is aware of the need to build a solid knowledge base on climate change impacts on a national level, a need that was felt during the consultations that led to the climate action bill.

The meeting, involving MEUSAC core group members, MCESD members and the academia on climate action, is one of a series of meetings intended to outreach all sectors of Maltese society on climate action. Other meetings will be held with the financial sector, school children, civil society, NGOs and the Ambassadors accredited to Malta.
This is an excellent opportunity for the members of the Climate Change Platform to participate and have their say on climate action policy.
The meeting will be held on 30 October at 10:00 at the University of Malta, Valletta Campus.
